Ashley not in any rush

Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier three-star all-purpose running back Darius Ashley had a plan this summer and so far he's executed it to perfection.
The 5-foot-8, 185-pounder has not attended any summer camps on purpose because he already has plenty of scholarship offers, but does plan on hitting a few schools for unofficial visits over the next few weeks.

"I'm not going to any camps," Ashley, who rushed for 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2006, said. "I plan on going to visit a few places. I'm not sure where yet though. I'm going to go over the summer though. I'll probably make it out to visit Virginia and maybe Illinois."
In the mean time, Ashley is already focused on his senior season.
"I'm really just working on probably getting quicker," Ashley, who reports a 4.45-second time in the 40-yard dash, said. "Everything has been really slow since the summer started. I've just been working out a lot."
With offers on the table from Boston College, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Northwestern, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and others, Ashley does have plenty of schools to pick from. He said he really doesn't have a leader at this point, but does like a few teams.
"I get texts a lot from Northwestern, Virginia, Indiana and a lot of places really," he said. "I don't have a definite favorite. I've only been to visit Louisville and Tennessee. And I liked Louisville a lot. I liked it a lot when I went down there to visit. I guess Louisville would be my leader if he had to name one, but I really don't have a leader, though."
There are a few schools that haven't offered him that remain in contact.
"Michigan's coaches still talk to me a lot," he said. "UCLA and Florida have been, too."
