Ash committed to NC State
Rumors had been swirling that Willingboro, N.J. offensive guard Ell Ash had committed to NC State on his official visit this weekend. Is it true?
"No, Ell hasn't committed to anyone," said Kimberly, the mother of the 6-foot-5, 258-pounder. "He enjoyed his visit to NC State but we talked long and hard about everything when he got back and I think he's more confused than ever. Sometimes it would be easier if he just had two or three offers."

That means that Ell's official visit to Tennessee is back on (Jan. 16) and a possible visit to South Carolina is in the mix for Jan. 23. However, a new team is now in the mix.
"Notre Dame just offered," said his mother. "That has thrown everything off a bit. Now he might visit Notre Dame on Jan. 23 instead of South Carolina."
Ash has already visited Clemson and Pitt and both schools are still very much involved.
"It will take all five visits and some long talks to figure things out," she said. "He'll wait until the end to decide."
