Arthur takes trip, makes decision

San Antonio (Texas) Reagan defensive end Adam Arthur took an official visit out-of-state this past weekend and found what he called the "right fit."
The 6-foot-3, 260-pounder had drawn scholarship offers from the likes of Air Force, Tulane, New Mexico State, and Rice. It was a trip to UAB on Jan. 26 that helped make up his mind.

"I'm headed to UAB," Arthur said. "I went on my official visit and the coach that was recruiting me from Tulane had moved over to UAB. We had talked and he said they were interested in me. I took my visit there without any expectations and I really enjoyed meeting the coaching staff.
"I saw a bright future in UAB and it just felt like the right fit."
Arthur says that despite having several other scholarship offers, UAB will be his final choice.
"This is it, it's where I plan on going," Arthur said. "I'm all done."
