Arrington fielding lots of calls

Cedar Rapids (Ia.) Washington wide receiver Adrian Arrington has had several calls over the past week and a half. So many that he has had to let a few go without a long visit.
“I have had a lot of schools calling,” the 6-foot-4, 180-pound Arrington said. “It has been a steady flow since the first of the month. I’ve had some really good talks with a lot of coaches. There have been so many, at times I’ve had to tell some to call at another time.”

Despite all of the calls, Arrington does not claim a favorite to place at the top of the list.
“I don’t really have a school that I could call a favorite one,” he said. “I do know Michigan and UCLA will probably be schools I visit. But, to call them favorites, I’m not ready to do that at this time.
“I would put them right up there with Kansas State, Notre Dame, Colorado and Iowa.”
Arrington’s season opened up last week with a victory.
“We won 47-14,” he said. “We played good. I was only in for the first half of the game.”
