Arnold lands another surprise offer

Almost every offer Brandon Arnold has received in the past few months has been a surprise including the one from Washington State on Wednesday.
It has been that way for the Encino (Calif.) Crespi defensive back who now has Washington State, Colorado, Colorado State, Hawaii, Michigan State, Oregon State, South Dakota and South Dakota State on his offer list.

"It was a surprise," Arnold said of his newest offer. "They just called me and then offered me.
"It has really picked up. I like Washington State a lot but I'm just seeing how things are going right now. I'm just sitting back and seeing what's going on. I want to take my time with my decision and I'm just waiting and being patient."
Arnold, a 6-foot, 183-pound prospect who has looked good with the 1925 All-Stars during 7on7 tournaments, said college coaches have also stopped by Crespi this spring and liked what they've seen.
More programs could be close to offering but Arnold isn't sure which ones.
"I believe they came during spring ball and saw me and after one D1 coach offered me it seems like it's kept up and still going," Arnold said. "It's been getting busier.
"There are other schools but I'm not sure which ones because most schools just call me out of the blue like Washington State did. I know Arizona and ASU are interested and I'm trying to go to one of their camps for one of those schools and see what happens after that."
Arnold said Oregon is his favorite but the Ducks haven't offered yet. He plans to camp there this summer along with a possible trip to Washington and a trip to either Arizona or Arizona State. There is also a chance he will go to Cal's camp and either USC or UCLA.
An offer from Oregon would be a big deal.
"My favorite is Oregon," Arnold said. "I love the weather up there. It's a nice area, a really calm area. It's a nice place. I love the academics up there and the facilities are amazing and it's just a really good place."
