Arnold considers two offers

Copley, Ohio, defensive back and wide receiver David Arnold recently landed his second major college scholarship offer.
"We visited Syracuse on Sunday," Arnold said. "We went on a tour and looked at the facilities. We talked to their coaches. When I was ready to leave they offered me a scholarship."

Arnold already had an offer on the table from Illinois.
The NIKE Football Training Camp was held at Penn State on Saturday. Though Arnold did not take part, he was in State College.
"I went to Penn State on Saturday for a visit," Arnold said. "I talked to Jay Paterno."
Arnold has visited other schools as well.
"I went to a spring scrimmage at Illinois and I visited Purdue on the way there," Arnold said. "I'm still looking at everyone."
Many recruiters are interested in Arnold.
"Coach (Rob) Ianello from Notre Dame stopped by school," Arnold said. "Kentucky, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Illinois, Ohio State, Minnesota, Indiana, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Toledo, a lot of them have been to my school."
Some have called Arnold as well.
"(Ohio State) Coach (Jim) Bollman called, and Syracuse and Illinois called," Arnold said.
Despite the two scholarship offers, Arnold said he is not close to selecting a college.
The 6-foot-0 and 185-pound Arnold led Copley in tackles and intercepted seven passes during his junior season. He also had over 500 receiving yards and scored four times.
