Army Combine: Top OL/DL Performers
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Some of the nation's top players gathered Friday

for the annual U.S. Army National Combine. Rivals.com analysts break town the top
offensive and defensive line performers at the event.
ARMY NATIONAL COMBINE TOP OL/DL PERFORMERS
1. SDE Daytrieon Dean, Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside
Dean had a standout performance on the afternoon showing a wide array of moves as he made his way around and through his opponents. He showed a nice explosive first step to go along with a powerful punch and some nice counter moves during one-on-ones and had more than his share of wins on the day in the Alamodome.
2. DT Antwuan Jackson, Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove (2016)
One thing definitely caught attention early and that was Jackson's quickness. He was tough for opponents to get a hand on as he blew right by them whether he was dipping his shoulder to dip behind or using his speed to get them off balance before crossing their face.
3. DT Brandon Tiassum, Indianapolis (Ind.) Park Tudor
At 6-foot-5, 265-pounds Tiassum certainly looks the part and he put in some work while he was in San Antonio. Not only does he have the size and the build college coaches look for, but he also showed a nice motor on the day.
4. OT Jauan Williams, Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll (2016)
Williams has a frame that is only going to add weight and that says a lot considering he is already 6-foot-6, 270-pounds. He was light on his feet and kept a strong base as he mirrored opposing defenders throughout the combine and showed why he already has the full attention of college coaches.
5. OL Toby Weathersby, Houston (Texas) Spring Westfield
Weathersby is known for his athleticism and his footwork along the offensive front. In San Antonio he also showed a very nasty streak in his play. He was violent as he pushed his opponents around and to the ground during one-on-ones.
6. OT Roy Hemsley, Los Angeles (Calif.) Windward
Hemsley may just be the most intriguing prospect of all the offensive and defensive linemen on hand for Friday's combine at the Alamodome. He is long and he showed some great footwork. It should be interesting to see how he progresses. He has a lot of upside.
7. SDE Rahshaun Smith, Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall (2016)
It came as no shock that Smith was once again a standout at the Army combine. He has already attracted the attention of college coaches and he showed a nice combination of moves as he proved to be a tough match-up for opposing offensive linemen.
8. DT Drayton Carlberg, Minneapolis (Minn.) De La Salle
Carlberg quickly showed he was ready to get down to business as he put in work during one-on-one drills against the offensive linemen. He used a powerful bull rush to overwhelm his first opponent and then he showed a little agility with a quick spin move to get inside and to the ball.
9. OC Marvis Brown, Orange (Texas) Little Cypress-Mauriceville
Brown is a big boy on the interior of the offensive line. He takes up space but he also gets his feet moving and gets good leverage and bends well. He also packs a powerful punch which stopped a few guys dead in their tracks and allowed him to get them going the other direction.
