Armstrong still at three

Longview, Texas, quarterback Joel Armstrong has a decision coming here in the next few days. After a visit to Rice this weekend, he's decided it's time to make his pick.
"I really liked Rice a lot," Armstrong, a three-star dual-threat quarterback, said. "I had a lot of fun, and I was impressed with their facilities and how they use the quarterback in their offense."

Armstrong said he saw a lot at Rice and actually thought about committing. But he said he now wants to sit down and think things over.
"It's still the three - Rice, SMU and TCU," he said.
"They all have different things. One might be stronger in academics and another might be stronger in football. And then other might be stronger in facilities. I need to make a decision, but I'll do it here in the next few days."
