Armstrong has options

Galena Park (Texas) North Shore three-star defensive end Dorance Armstrong has picked up offers from Cal, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan State, Northwestern, and Oregon State, and he has received significant interest from Ohio State, Texas, and Washington.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defender does not have any favorites at this point in the process, but there are a few schools who have shown more interest than the others.

"Oregon State and Illinois," Armstrong said. "Every day I check my mailbox and I have letters from them. Also in my DMs."
He does not have any unofficial visits on his schedule yet, but he does have an idea when it comes to his official visits.
"I don't have any scheduled, but I would like to visit Ohio State, Iowa State, and Oregon State," Armstrong said.
Armstong may be keeping his options open at this point, but he does have an idea about when he would like to narrow his list and make his college decision.
"I believe I'll have my decision either by the end of the season or after," Armstrong said.
As a junior Armstrong recorded nine sacks and earned second team all-district honors as North Shore finished the 2013 season with a 12-1 overall record and a district title. Armstrong is currently ranked a 5.5, 3-star prospect.
