Arkansas WR staying patient

Little Rock (Ark.) Central wide receiver Stewart Franks picked up an early scholarship offer from the University of Arkansas and since that team things have slowed down for this talented player.
“Arkansas is still the only offer I have,” Franks said. “In fact, Arkansas is really the only school calling me at all. I am getting letters and stuff from some other schools, but that is about it really.”

The 6-foot-2, 190 pound Franks, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds, caught 30 passes for 726 passes and six touchdowns as a junior.
“I went to the Arkansas-Texas game earlier in the year,” Franks said. “This weekend I am planning on going to the Arkansas-Georgia game. I have not set up an official visit with Arkansas yet, but I am planning on doing that soon.”
So far this year Franks is averaging 23 yards per catch and has scored seven touchdowns. He doesn’t know his exact total yardage, but believes it is around the 400 yard mark.
“Right now I am just sitting back and seeing who all offers me,” Franks said. “I just want to take my time and listen to everyone who is interested in me right now. I am having an okay year, but overall as a team things haven’t been going to well and I’m focused on that right now.”
