Arkansas' top player has set another official visit
and entertained two of his top schools for in-home visits in the last week.

Warren standout
Bret Smith, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast
Top 100 team and the No. 12 wide receiver in the nation, has
added Ole Miss to his official visit list. He finalized a Jan. 10 date after
meeting at his home with Rebels assistant Kurt Roper on Tuesday.
"I like coach Roper a lot and everything he had to
say about Ole Miss," Smith said. "I think that could be a decent place for
me."
Smith (6-3, 175, 4.5) also has a visit in place for
Tennessee on Jan. 17. Vols assistant Steve Caldwell was in the home late
last week for a visit.
He said Arkansas and Florida will likely get dates
as well, rounding out his top four.
"I don't have a favorite right now," he said.
"Everything is still open."
Many observers speculate that Smith will join
high-profile teammates Terrance Hampton and RoShaun Fellows at the same
college. They all list the Razorbacks and Volunteers among their top choices.
Smith, who had a gaudy 103 receptions for almost
1,900 yards and 23 touchdowns in leading Warren to a state championship as a
junior, is seeking a repeat this Saturday as the Lumberjacks play in the
Class 3A title game. He began the season as a quarterback, but has since
moved back to wideout. Last week in the semifinals he had seven catches for
207 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for another score.
