Arkansas QB heading to Ivy League

One of the top passers in the Natural State could be heading to the Northeast to play college football. Springdale (Ark.) Shiloh Christian quarterback Matt Simpson is seriously considering multiple Ivy League programs.
Harvard, Yale and Princeton all are in the running for Simpson.

"Harvard would probably be number one for me, with Yale in second," Simpson said. "At Yale I love the coaches, both the quarterbacks coach and head coach have been great. So, they seem like they'd be easy to get along with."
The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder will make an official visit to Harvard this coming weekend.
He also talked about what he liked about Princeton.
"I like the location and they probably have the nicest facilities I've seen so far," Simpson said. "Plus, they seem very serious about their football even though they're traditionally known for academics, so overall it was great."
Troy, of the Sun Belt Conference, had been recruiting Simpson, but he isn't sure where things stand with the Trojans right now.
"Troy recently received a JUCO QB commit, but they're still on me," he said. "So, I probably give them a call to see where I stand."
Simpson is a high (5.4) two-star rated prospect by Rivals.com.
