Arkansas OL talks early top five

Monticello (Ark.) offensive lineman Seth Oxner could potentially be one of the top prospects at his position in the Natural State for the Class of 2007.
The 6-foot-3, 282-pounder has an early top five of Arkansas, Mississippi State, LSU, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss. He has yet to receive any written scholarship offers, but has gotten plenty of correspondence from his top schools.

He recently told Rivals.com why he liked each school in his early top five.
Arkansas: "As a school, I like Arkansas because I want to major in engineering and they have a good engineering program. They also have a team that I think is going to be pretty good next year with all of the prospects that they got in the class of 2006 and all of the players they have coming back off of this year's team."
Mississippi State: "Monticello is very rural and small. Mississippi State (located in Starkville, Miss.) reminds me of Monticello. It has a good engineering program as well. The team may not be as good right now, but I think that they will be good in the future."
LSU: "LSU has been very good the last couple of years. I don't know much about the school, but they have a very good football program."
Oklahoma State: "Throughout the football season, they have been sending me e-mails and letters. They actually sent me a lot of letters before the season and through the season. I was hoping to take an unofficial visit up there, but I wasn't able to with football and all."
Ole Miss: "They have a beautiful campus. I don't know much about the school, but I did go there and the campus is beautiful. They've sent me a lot of letters as well."
Oxner plans to camp at Mississippi State and Arkansas this summer. He recently received an invitation to LSU's junior day on March 4. He will make a return trip to LSU campus on April 30 for the Baton Rouge NIKE camp.
