Arkansas needs spotlight of Green-Beckham

Today's question: What program most needs a certain 2012 prospect - and who is that prospect - and why?
Mike Farrell: Arkansas needs Dorial Green-Beckham to take the Razorbacks to that next level of recruiting. Landing the No. 1 player in the country could propel them in the class of 2013 when it comes to recruiting high-level prospects, especially on offense, and they've been very good the last few years under the radar. Landing DGB would put them squarely in the national focus for recruiting.
Adam Gorney: It's crucial for Cyler Miles sign with Washington. The four-star quarterback from Denver (Colo.) Mullen proved at the Army Bowl that he is a game-changer and someone who could really make a difference for the Huskies throughout his career. He has the chance to be a really special player and if he flips to USC - which is unexpected at this point - that could really put a dent in Washington's program. The Huskies are expected to also sign Jeff Lindquist, who is a talented quarterback. But Miles is spectacular and could really do big things for that team. In-home visits with USC and Washington in the next few days will be crucial to Miles' recruitment and so it's important the Huskies do everything they possibly can to keep him in their class.
Josh Helmholdt: Wisconsin just lost four-star offensive tackle J.J. Denman to Rutgers, and is unlikely to get him back even with Greg Schiano going to Tampa Bay. Long-time offensive tackle commit Kyle Dodson also looks to be slipping away, and the Wisconsin coaches have responded by bringing in a large group of offensive line prospects for the final official visit weekend. The biggest name on that list is Chicago Simeon four-star Jordan Diamond. If the Badgers can make a strong pitch to Diamond this weekend and get him to sign next week, that would go a long way toward easing the loss of Denman and likely loss of Dodson.
Chris Nee: I am going to stay inside the Sunshine State and say that it is crucial for Florida to sign one of, possibly both, five-star wide receiver targets that remain on their board in Tampa Berkeley Prep's Nelson Agholor and Olney (Md.) Our Lady of Good Counsel's Stefon Diggs. Florida is in desperate need of a great vertical threat who is a playmaker for the passing game. Both prospects are capable of contributing in their first year on campus and would be a major asset to new offensive coordinator Brent Pease.
Keith Niebuhr: I'll go with Arkansas and Dorial Green-Beckham. There are several reasons this is my pick, the most obvious being that he is the nation's No. 1 player. And anytime you can add a prospect of that caliber you should be giddy. The Razorbacks are a team that loves to pass, and with Green-Beckham they would have themselves an elite receiver that will be a matchup nightmare for SEC cornerbacks. Just as important, his signing could give the program a boost in notoriety. In the SEC West, Alabama, LSU and Auburn get the spotlight most of the time, and this would give Arkansas some excellent exposure. Signing the No. 1 recruit is really something on which a program can hang its hat, and sell to prospects next year, the year after and beyond. Even if he never pans out, it's still a win for the Razorbacks.

Brian Perroni: I don't know what every depth chart in the country looks like but I do know that Oklahoma is in dire need of cornerbacks. The Sooners were forced to use one of their backup QBs to practice at the spot during bowl week. They already have a junior college transfer on campus in Kasseim Everett but they desperately need to flip Baylor commit Zack Sanchez this weekend as well as grab Gary Simon out of the state of Florida.
