Arkansas LB couldnt make it to camps

Star City, Ark., inside linebacker Cedric Thornton was hoping to hit some summer camps in June and July to improve his stock. But the No. 19 player in Arkansas wasn't able to make it anywhere, and instead spent most of his summer focused on getting even better on the football field.
"I've been working out at home and at school," Thornton, who is 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, said.

"I've basically been working on my speed and strength. I've been doing a bunch of squats and running the bleachers to improve my speed. To work on my strength, I've been hitting the weights and drinking a lot of water."
Thornton said he received calls in May from LSU, Arkansas and several smaller school. He indicated he continues to like Arkansas a lot and that he hopes the Hawgs offer.
"Arkansas is recruiting me the heaviest," he said. "I don't know where I stand with them, but I'm hoping they offer."
Thornton could not recall the names of the coaches recruiting him from Arkansas or LSU.
