Arkansas flavor at Virginia prep

The Arkansas Razorbacks have four one-time commitments currently playing football at Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military this football season. Is each still committed to the Hawgs?
"Yes, all four are still Arkansas commitments and I don't see them changing their minds," said Hargrave assistant coach Chris Hicks. "Offensive linemen Dustin Moore (right) and Jeremy Palmoore are just massive. Moore is around 6-foot-5 and 360 pounds and quick. He can run a 5.2-second 40-yard dash. Palmoore is 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds and is also very much improved."

The Hawgs are also tracking two defensive players.
"Rodney Giles is playing very well, he just had two sacks for us last weekend. He's playing outside linebacker but I think they want him as a defensive end down at Arkansas. Marcus Hairston is a two-way lineman, but I think he wants to play defensive tackle at Arkansas. He's 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds and moves very well. He's quick enough to play DT."
Hicks said he's not sure yet whether any of the future Hawgs will be able to enroll in January of 2004. More likely, each will be on campus in August.
