Arkansas, Duke, Maryland Top 3 for FL DB

Three-star Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep defensive back Antonyo Sotolongo has a long list of offers, but three schools are starting to pull ahead of the pack.
"Arkansas, Duke and Maryland are my favorites right now," The 6-foot, 194-pound safety said. "They're recruiting me the hardest right now."

Sotolongo shared his thoughts on each of the programs.
Arkansas: "I haven't talked to them in about a week but they keep up with me and send me a lot of mail. They send me handwritten letters about how they want to see me up there and stuff like that. My relationship with Randy Shannon is pretty good. Whenever he's down he always stops by and he's always letting me know that they're still interested. I haven't had a chance to schedule anything yet but I want to get up there and see the campus."
Duke: "I hear from them all the time. I probably hear from them twice a week, whether it's a letter or on Twitter, they're just trying to catch up with me and see how I'm doing. That's cool because they're very consistent with their recruiting. Everything is going pretty good with them. They've got an incredible program. Top 20 in the nation, almost beat Texas A&M, that's pretty big for them. They're trying to get me up there but I'm not sure when I'm going to make it."
Maryland: "I speak to Coach Brian Stewart probably once a week. He seems like a cool guy, very straightforward. He tells it like it is. I like that about him, that's he's a straight shooter. That's really good that I'm talking to a guy that tells it like it is, knows what he wants from me and I know what to expect and what I need to do to get better."
With three schools in mind, Sotolongo said he's hoping he can start thinking about a decision as the summer moves along.
"I think I'll probably wait until about midway through my senior season," he said. "Hopefully I'll be comfortable enough to make a decision by then."
