Arkansas DT focused on four

Three-star Little Rock (Ark.) Central defensive tackle Fred Bledsoe has four schools at the top of his list as he prepares to resume taking his official visits.
“I’m going to Oklahoma State this weekend,” he said. “After that, I’m trying to set one up for Florida on the 16th. They asked for some film, and coach Dixon said they wanted to get me down there for a visit, so I think some things are starting to happen there. And of course I’ll be going to Arkansas on the 23rd.”

Bledsoe (6-4, 280, 4.91) has made only one visit to date, a December trip to Tennessee that went quite well.
“Tennessee was great,” he said. “I really enjoyed myself there. They really kind of sparked my eyes. Coach Fulmer showed me a good time, and I kind of like his philosophy of coaching. He really pushes his guys to be winners. He reminds me of my coach.”
He said he considers the Vols to be on equal footing with the other three schools on his list at this point. Asked what attracts him to the Cowboys, Gators and Razorbacks, he offered the following:
“I really like coach Miles at Oklahoma State,” he said. “He’s a hard-working man who took his team to the Cotton Bowl this year. He’s got his program going in a good direction right now. I love him and his coaching staff.
“Florida is just now starting to talk to me a lot more. I haven’t had a chance to talk to coach Zook yet, but coach Dixon makes it sound like they really like me. I’m expecting to hear back from them sometime soon. I like their tradition and the environment down there.
“The big thing with Arkansas right now is the fact that coach Nutt turned down Nebraska and stayed here. I think he made a really good choice, and it tells me something about the man. It tells me that he has big goals for Arkansas, and he’s not going anywhere until he accomplishes those. I like that.”
As a senior, Bledsoe earned numerous all-state honors after recording 91 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three sacks, three interceptions (one returned for a TD) and one pass break-up.
