Arkansas DE picking up interest

Some prospects are born to play certain positions. Other guys must grow into positions and then there are guys who are talented enough to play several different positions. Malvern (Ark.) linebacker Brandon Bradford.
“I have been hearing from Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, Colorado and Duke,” Bradford said.

At 6-foot-2, 245 pounds with a 40 yard dash of 4.75 seconds, a bench press of 335 pounds and a squat of 515 pounds, Bradford plays linebacker on his high school team. While he could possibly maintain that position on the college level, it is more likely that he will be a defensive end on the next level.
“I play fullback and inside linebacker for my high school, but I think my coach is moving me this year to the defensive line. I would like to play either linebacker or defensive end in college.”
As a junior he posted 75 tackles, 18 of which were for loss and he also racked up five sacks.
“My top schools are Arkansas, LSU, Mississippi State, Florida and Louisiana Tech. I really just want to look around at a bunch of different schools. I went to Arkansas for junior day and it went well. I got to talk to the coaches and they were real cool.”
He plans to attend the NIKE camp at Texas A&M and also team camp at Tulsa.
“I’m looking for a place that can offer me a good invitation. Also the type of feel I have when I go to a certain school. I was impressed with Arkansas’ facilities when I was there and I think that will be a factor in my decision.”
