Arizona trio taking unofficial

It's a deep year, talent wise, in Arizona this year and it seems Cal is involved with just about everyone. Three of the very best prospects in the entire West region are heading to Berkley this weekend and the Bears are doing very well with each of them.
Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton running back Covaughn Deboskie and Chandler (Ariz.) teammates Dion Jordan and Marc Anthony will all be in attendance this weekend when the Bears take on SEC power Tennessee. Deboskie, 6-0, 195 pounds is a top 100 player nationally in our eyes and a true game breaker. Jordan, 6-6, 220 pounds could play tight end or defensive end in college and Anthony, 6-0, 185 pounds is a lockdown corner who could also move to safety if needed.

For Anthony, this will be his second visit to Berkeley in as many weeks.
"I had a real nice trip last week," Anthony said. "The coaches were all cool and laid back and the weather was great the whole weekend. I'm very high on Cal, they have been one of my top school for awhile now and it's going to be a lot of fun being there on a game weekend with Dion and Covaughn.
"No matter how much fun I have, I still have no plans to make an early commitment. I really want to check out all the schools on my list and take my official visits. I'm visiting Nebraska and Michigan next month and I'm looking forward to seeing both schools as well."
Following his camp experience at Michigan over the summer, Anthony told us the Wolverines were the team to beat. However, in recent weeks, we've heard that Cal has caught up and is at worst even with Michigan and could even be the team to beat right now.
We've also been hearing Cal is the team to beat for Deboskie for some time now. Stanford is right there as well but the Bears have to be considered the team to beat. Jordan has played things a little closer to the vest but if Cal is able to reel in Anthony and Deboskie, that could play a factor in what the talented two way athlete eventually does as well.
