Arizona three-star sets five visits

Three-star running back Jamal Womble (5-10, 216, 4.41) from Sierra Vista (Ariz.) Buena is off to a fine start even if his team is off to a sluggish 1-5 season.
"We are playing against tough competition," Womble said. "Everyone on our schedule is playoff teams.

Because Womble is playing against such competition it is impressive indeed that he has rushed for 950 yards and has scored 10 touchdowns. He also has three receptions for 160 yards that means he's averaging 60 yards a catch.
Womble has also returned on kickoff for a touchdown.
On the recruiting front Womble was supposed to have visited North Carolina this past weekend but he will visit there this coming weekend (October 12th).
Womble has already visited Boston College and his final four visits will be to North Carolina, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Nebraska. He doesn't have a date as of yet for his Nebraska visit.
"Everybody is pretty much even," Womble said. "I'm going to sit down after I take all my visits and discuss it with my family.
"I should be able to make a decision about two weeks after my last visit," Womble said. "I should be able to make an announcement in December.
"I liked the atmosphere at Boston College," Womble said. "I was surprised that football was such a big part of the college.
"Boston College is doing great this season," Womble said. "Their two running backs are leaving after this season so there will be an opportunity for a freshman running back to play.
"North Carolina had a big win over Miami on Saturday and Butch Davis has the program going in the right direction," Womble said. "I'm originally from North Carolina so my family will be able to see me play. I will know more about North Carolina after my visit.
"I don't know much about Wisconsin," Womble said. "That's the reason I want to visit there.
"Nebraska has great tradition and has a great running back tradition," Womble said. "Lincoln is a city that is all about football. I will know more about them after my visit.
