Arizona safety holding three offers

Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton safety Devon Carrington has picked up three scholarship offers so far in the recruiting process, but the talented prospect is far from making a decision on where he will play his college football.
"Everything with recruiting really is going good," the 5-foot-11, 176-pound Carrington said. "It is early, really, but I am hearing from several schools. I still have just the three scholarship offers."

Those three offers are from Arizona, Arizona State and Stanford.
"Those are great schools to choose from already, but I am hearing from others, too. I'm wide open. I'm not favoring anyone at this point."
In addition to the three schools with offers extended, Carrington is hearing from Oregon, UCLA, Oklahoma, Cal and Oregon State among others.
"I am looking for a school that has a good football program. Academics are going to be very important to me, too. I also will look at what the playing time situation is when I get closer to making a decision."
Carrington does not have a locked in schedule for junior days this spring.
"I was going to try to go to Stanford's, but I am not sure if I will be able to make it. I may be trying to get to Cal's junior day. It isn't for sure yet."
As a junior, Carrington recorded 77 tackles, two interceptions, four quarterback sacks and three fumble recoveries.
