Arizona safety a star with speed

Tempe (Ariz.) McClintock safety Andre Bailey is earning rave reviews from college coaches and from local prep coaches in Arizona.
They say that Bailey is one of the best players out West this season and his ability to play a number of different positions makes him so valuable.

While most of the teams are recruiting Bailey, who is 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, as a safety, he thinks he can contribute at a number of different spots.
"I'm going to play quite a bit of receiver this year," Bailey, who has 4.37-second speed in the 40-yard dash, said.
"I wouldn't mind getting the ball in my hands a little bit when I'm in college."
Neither would Colorado, Washington, Oregon State and Boise State. Those are the teams that have offered Bailey and are on his list, along with Arizona and Oregon.
"I'm not really too focused on the recruiting process right now," Bailey said. "I'm more geared toward helping my team win. I don't think I'm going to take my visits until the season is over."
When asked if he had a leader, Bailey said "not really."
"They're all great schools," Bailey said. "I want to take some trips and see what happens."
Bailey said he would like to play with teammate Randy Hill, who is a blue-chip running back, if he can on the next level.
"But that's not going to be the deciding factor," Bailey said.
