Arizona RB set for busy spring

We haven't seen too many running backs more impressive on film this year than Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton standout Covaughn Deboskie. The athlete is one of the fastest backs in the region and it wouldn't be surprising to see him holding double digit scholarship offers by the time the summer rolls around.
Deboskie, 6-0, 190 pounds has the kind of film where after two or three plays, you've seen enough to believe he's one of the top backs in the region. The athlete has a great frame, cam make that first guy miss but it's his game breaking ability that really opens your eyes.

Deboskie attended a pair of NIKE Combines this year and had the fastest 40 time at both events. He clocked a 4.51-40 (electronic) and jumped 37 inches in the vertical at the Long Beach event and then went 4.48 and again jumped 37 inches at the combine in Phoenix.
As a junior, Deboskie rushed 150 times for 1,304 yards and 22 touchdowns and added 12 catches for 400 yards and two more scores. He's also a standout in track and had personal bests of 10.83 in the 100m and 21.70 in the 200m. He has already topped that time in the 100m and track season is just now under way.
"I ran 10.59 yesterday (Wednesday)," Deboskie said. "That was a hand time, my 10.83 was electric but I feel really good right now and I'm excited to see what I'll be running later on in the season."
On the recruiting front, Arizona, Arizona State and Navy have offered scholarships and several appear on the verge as well.
"A lot of schools have said it's going to happen and to keep checking my mail," Deboskie said. "UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon State, those are just a few of the schools that have mentioned an offer. I'm hearing from a ton of other schools as well, from all over. Tennessee, Clemson, South Carolina, Texas, Illinois, Colorado plus the rest of the Pac 10 are all showing interest.
"Right now, I like UCLA, Notre Dame, USC, Cal and Arizona State as my top five and I still have interest in a lot of other schools as well. Arizona, Stanford, Oregon State, a lot of schools. This spring is going to be crazy for me because I'm going to be camping all over the place.
"As of right now, and it could change, but I'm planning to camp with Hawaii, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, Clemson, South Carolina and maybe Tennessee. All those schools are showing a lot of interest so I want to go and check them all out and see how I like it. I definitely want to take my visits and have no plans to make an early commitment right now. I want to go through the process, see what schools like me and then go from there."
Academically, Deboskie is carrying a 4.16 GPA and scored a 1390 on the SAT.
