There is a quarterback in Arizona who is beginning to heat up on the recruiting trail. He is also an outstanding baseball player and is getting recruiting action for his skills as a second basemen as well.
The quarterback in question is Brian Wristan (6-2, 175, 4.8) from Phoenix (Ariz.) Moon Valley.

Wristan is just getting into the spring football groove after just getting back after helping Moon Valley make it to the State Championship game in a losing cause to Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral.
On the gridiron Wristan threw for 1,841 yards and 26 touchdowns. His performance saw him be selected all-region second-team as a junior.
So far this spring Boise State, Arizona, ASU, Cal, Nevada, UTEP. Colorado, Colorado State and Idaho State have been showing interest in Wristan. He is getting handwritten letters from Arizona, ASU, Washington, Washington State, Cal and Boise State.
“Brian has great leadership qualities,” Moon Valley head coach Roger Briston said. “He’s a very heady player and has a great knowledge for the game.”
“Brian has a fine arm and has great touch,” Briston said. “Most of his touch comes from his great decision making.”
“Brian knows when to throw with touch and when to throw the fast ball,” Briston said. “And he can throw with good velocity.”
“Brian has a great feel for the game,” Briston said. “He manages the game and runs the offense with expertise.”
“Brian makes plays whether he is playing football or baseball,” Briston said. “Football is his favorite.”
