Arizona pledge to take trips

Pierre Cormier watched Arizona upset USC on Saturday and the San Diego (Calif.) Madison three-star running back was excited because he's committed to the Wildcats.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect committed to Arizona in early August and is sticking with his pledge but will take other official visits.

"I saw it," Cormier said. "I thought it was pretty cool. It was definitely exciting to see.
"The offense is something attractive to me. I knew about the offense before but when I saw it I thought it was pretty cool."
Washington, Oregon State and Nebraska are the three frontrunners for Cormier's visits but no dates have been scheduled yet. A trip to Arizona will also happen and the three-star said the Wildcats still look good.
"I'm taking my last official visit there but I'm taking three others, too," Cormier said. "I just want to see what else is out there a little bit. I'm still strong with Arizona."
Cormier, rated as the No. 35 running back in the 2013 class and No. 45 in the California state rankings by Rivals.com, said everything is fine with his pledge but that those other three schools have also been recruiting him and he wants to at least give them a look.
"They have been recruiting me hard," Cormier said. "I've developed good relationships with them, too."
In total, Cormier has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Cincinnati, Fresno State, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon State, Purdue, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt and Washington State.
Through nine games this season, the three-star has rushed for 1,300 yards with 14 touchdowns on 113 carries.
