Arizona OL up to seven offers

The Grand Canyon State of Arizona is home to one of the best offensive line prospects in the western region in offensive tackle Kristofer O'Dowd (6-5, 298, 4.92) from Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic. O'Dowd already has seven offers on the table.
The talented O'Dowd was one of Arizona's most honored football players in 2005.

Based on his outstanding on-field performance, O'Dowd earned all-city, all-region and all-state as a junior. He was also the only junior to make the highly coveted all-Arizona team in 2005. It is the team that included all divisions of Arizona high school football.
O'Dowd already has D-I strength with his 410-pound bench and his squat of 550-pounds. He has a very good vertical of 30-inches for a guy his size and his 4.92 forty time was clocked at Ohio State's camp last summer, so this big man can move.
So far O'Dowd has offers on the table from Ohio State, Michigan State, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Nevada and Texas Tech.
The talented offensive lineman is also getting a lot of interest from USC, Miami and the National Champion Texas Longhorns.
"I'm going to USC's junior day on April 2nd," O'Dowd said. "This summer I may do the All-America Combine. I'm also thinking about going to camps at USC and Texas this summer."
"I'm pretty open regarding colleges right now and I'm just feeling the water right now," O'Dowd said. "I should have my school choices narrowed down by the end of the summer."
"I'm going to major in pre-dental and most of the schools that I'm interested in have the curriculum," O'Dowd said. "I'm also looking for a good coaching staff, a nice community and a school with a good tradition."
Many feel that O'Dowd is the top D-I prospect in the state. One to keep an eye this recruiting season.
O'Dowd is also a very good student who carries a 3.4 GPA.
