"Right now, I'm kind of treading water, checking out what all the schools have to offer," O'Dowd said. "Sometime in the summer I will start to narrow things down."
"I have been to junior days at Arizona, Arizona State and USC," O'Dowd said. "Arizona was pretty fun."
"Arizona had two junior days," O'Dowd said. "One where there were only eight other athletes there and another with about 150 players."
"I attended the one with eight athletes," O'Dowd said. "We were able to get a lot of quality one-on-one time with our respective position coaches."
"Arizona State's junior day was pretty much like Arizona's," O'Dowd said. "There were about 15 athletes at the Sun Devil junior day."
"USC was the total opposite," O'Dowd said. "I've never seen so many kids at a junior day."
"I had a good time there," O'Dowd said. "I had some one-on-one time with offensive line coach Pat Ruel. USC offered me a couple of days later."
"I am very open at this time and have no favorites," O'Dowd said. "I would like to hear from UCLA and Notre Dame."
O'Dowd already possesses impressive numbers in the weight room. His bench is a very impressive 420 and his squat is a D-I like 550. He has recorded a very notable for his size, a 31-inch vertical.
O'Dowd was the only junior to make the all-Arizona team (all classifications), all-state, all-city and all-region for his 2005 performance.
