Arizona OL quick feet impresses

Offensive lineman David Kraus (6-3, 295, 5.2) from Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista has had a very good camp season starting back in April when he first impressed Rivals.com an outstanding performance at the NIKE Camp held last April. His most recent performance was at Arizona State's camp.
"I performed good at the ASU camp," Kraus said. "I also did well at the Arizona camp. At Arizona's camp, they told me that I had the best feet out of all the big men."

"At ASU, I did very well during the one on one drills," Kraus said. "I also did good at the footwork drills at the Arizona State camp and I was told I had the best footwork.
"I went two weeks ago to the full pad camps at Nevada," Kraus said. "It was an opportunity to put the pads on before the season and I did well there, too."
"I'm done with camps for now," Kraus said. "I will be busy working hard in the weight room trying to get bigger, stronger and faster."
Right now, Kraus has a bench of 340, squats 475, power cleans 245 and has recorded a 26-inch vertical.
The scouting report on Kraus is he had good feet with an upbeat attitude and plays the game with a lot of determination. He also has outstanding leadership skills. He's very flexible and is known as a good knee bender and that allows him to get leverage on an opponent. He will also play defensive tackle as a senior.
Kraus earned all-region as a junior and was named by the Arizona Republic, the Grand Canyon State's paper of record, to the state top 50 team, landing as the State's No. 22 prospect at any position. The paper named him the No. 3 offensive lineman in the state.
On the recruiting trail, Kraus is getting recruiting action from Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Boise State, Nevada and Central Florida.
What is Kraus looking for in a college?
"I'm looking for a good football program at a school with good academics," Kraus said. "I don't have a preference for location, but I would prefer warm weather."
