Arizona OL makes decision

The recruitment of offensive lineman Blake Behrens (6-3, 280, 5.3) from Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy Prep has come to an end. The talented offensive lineman had several offers but in the end it came down to Colorado and Miami.
"It was a tough decision but I chose Colorado," Behrens said. "My Mom was born and raised in Boulder so we would go to Colorado pretty much once a year and I already have friends there in Boulder."

"I get along well with the coaching staff and I respond well to that," Behrens said. "I like the way the Colorado program is going and I think we will be contending for a national championship in a couple of years.
"Another reason I chose Colorado is I love the outdoors and snowboarding," Behrens said. "I just love the surroundings of Colorado. CU has the complete package for me."
Colorado won the services of Behrens over other offers from Miami, Colorado State, Utah, Boise State, UTEP and Oregon State.
Behrens will most likely end up playing center or guard on the offensive side of the ball for the Buffs.
The Buffs land a player who earned first-team all-state, first-team all-area first-team and all-league honors a junior. He was also second-team all-league as a defensive lineman in 2005
Behrens was selected all-state honorable mention as a sophomore.
