Arizona junior rolling in offers

There is good chance that Arizona could be home to both the top defensive tackle and defensive end prospect in the West for the class of 2009. We caught up with Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro tackle Corey Adams at the NIKE Combine in Phoenix this past weekend and it sounds like he'll have his pick of just about any college in the country.
Adams, 6-3, 275 pounds is a very talented prospect and would have ranked among the top defensive tackle prospects in the region as a junior this past season. He has all the physical tools to be a dominant college player including a great frame, strength, quickness and a motor.

We first saw Adams a year ago at the same NIKE Combine where the lineman clocked a very good 5.10-40, with 29 reps on the bench and a 28 inch vertical leap. He then attended at the SoCal NIKE Camp and was as impressive as any of the defensive lineman in the camp.
On the field, Adams had a huge year leading Saguaro to their second straight state championship with a perfect 14-0 record. The lineman racked up an incredible 117 tackles and 24 sacks.
Adams didn't work out at the combine but chose to attend and support his teammates.
"I'm going to the NIKE Camp at USC but I just wanted to come out here and support some of our guys," Adams said. "I've been working hard though, our whole team has, we're going for a three-peat next year and with the talent we have coming back, I think we have a great chance.
"Recruiting wise, I have offers right now from Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, USC, Stanford, Ohio State, Florida, Michigan and Ohio State. I don't have any leaders right now and I plan to take all five of my trips and go through the recruiting process before I make my decision."
We've heard that Arizona State could be an early leader and Ohio State is high on the list right now but Adams reiterated he's not leaning anywhere.
"I grew up a big fan of ASU and I have family in Ohio," Adams said. "That won't play a role in my decision though. I'm open to everyone who is recruiting me and I really couldn't tell you who my top five is. I'm just going to play things out and see how it ends up."
