Arizona fullback pounds out the tough yards
Grand Canyon State fullback/linebacker prospect Phillip Pickett (6-1, 235, 4.6) from Tucson (Ariz.) Catalina closed out a solid senior year where he led the city of Tucson in rushing with 1,760 yards and 17 touchdowns. He averaged 8.9 yards per carry.
Pickett has good size with deceptive speed and is hard to break down. He is the prototypical fullback prospect. Pickett will get you the tough yards, is a great blocker and has good hands.

Pickett hasn’t dropped a pass thrown to him for two years. Catalina didn’t throw much to him but he did catch seven passes for 53 yards for an average of 7.5 yards per catch.
Pickett has also played linebacker and some schools may take a look at him for that position.
No visits have been set but UCLA, ASU, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State are calling.
