Arizona four-star leading the way

Four-star running back Jamal Miles (5-10, 180, 4.4) from Peoria, Ariz., is living up to his reputation as one of the Grand Canyon State's top players. He has been a catalyst for the Panther's perfect 6-0 record.
In his six games, Miles has rushed for 668 yards on 65 carries while averaging 10.3 yards per carry and nine touchdowns with a long run of 80 yards. He is also outstanding returning punts. He has 123 punt return yards on three attempts for an average of 41 yards per punt return.

On the recruiting trail Miles has three offers on the table.
"I received a new offer from Colorado State a couple of weeks ago," Miles said. "I now have offers from Colorado State, Arizona and Arizona State. Those are the schools that are recruiting me the hardest right now, and those are my favorites."
"I have not taken any official visits yet, and I have not set any up yet," Miles said. "I'd like to visit Arizona and Arizona State for sure.
"I talked to Oregon State, Arizona and Colorado State more than any others," Miles said. "I'm hoping to hear more from Arizona State."
What is Miles looking for in a college?
"I'm looking for a good coaching staff and a good team," Miles said. Also what kind of offense the school runs. Everyone is recruiting me to play running back."
"I don't have any plans or a timetable set for a commitment," Miles said. "I'm probably going to do that after the football season."
Miles is very busy trying to accomplish his goals.
"I want out team to win region and then state."
Miles earned all-state as a junior after rushing for 1,600 yards and scoring 39 touchdowns.
Miles was selected to the Rivals.com Arizona Preseason Top 30 team for the class of 2009 landing as the Grand Canyon State's No. 6 at any position.
