“Galloway keeps getting better every year,” Millennium head coach Chuck Horn said. “Each year Taryll gains more confidence and experience. There is no telling how good he will become. Taryll has such great potential.”
Galloway was selected all-region as consolation prize. “Taryll was one vote shy of being his Region’s Offensive MVP,” Horn said.
Galloway rushed for 1,370 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 7.5 yards per carry. Remember he shared touches with another back who rushed for over a 1,000 yards.
Galloway has an incredible work ethic. He benches 300 pounds, squats 460, power cleans 270 and as a vertical jump of 32 ½.
“Taryll is built like a Greek God,” Horn said. “I think his biceps are larger than my legs.”
All three instate schools are showing interest ASU, Arizona and NAU. Colorado, Washington, SDSU, Utah, Utah State and a host of other schools are recruiting Galloway.
Exhibit number two is Chazz Miles (6-0, 212, 4.5). Miles rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 16 touchdowns.
Miles has great moves and is very shifty. He needs to do some work in the classroom and may not qualify.
Nebraska loves Miles and the Huskers may hook him up with a JUCO if he doesn’t predict.
