Arizona commit hearing from others

Ricky McCoy remains happily committed to Arizona but plenty of programs have stopped by his school recently and he plans to at least consider all the teams recruiting him.
"It has been busy," McCoy said. "I met with three coaches last week and I got offered by all of them so it's been really good.

"Arizona came down and of course I already have that offer. We talked a little bit and then Cal came down on Wednesday and they offered me. Fresno State came the day after and I got an offer from them as well."
The Wildcats remain the favorite for the Fresno (Calif.) Roosevelt tight end but McCoy said he wants to check out other schools, take some visits, meet with coaches and see which situation works out best for him.
Days after the Golden Bears offered, McCoy and other Fresno prospects attended the Cal spring game last weekend.
"I definitely have Arizona as my top school right now but I also know that with everything picking up I need to go out and check out some other stuff just to make sure," McCoy said.
"I'm definitely going to check out Fresno State as well. It's right down the street from me. I'll probably check out Washington, Oregon State and whoever comes in."
Fresno State could be a major player in McCoy's recruitment especially after Fresno Edison defensive back AJ Greeley surprisingly picked the Bulldogs over numerous Pac-12 programs.
Arizona still has McCoy's commitment and he likes the Wildcats a lot but he said Fresno State will definitely be under serious consideration.
"It's pretty smart for Fresno State to try to keep up all at home," McCoy said. "With AJ being a good friend of mine and a (7on7) teammate, that could definitely spark something."
