Are Buffs about to add QB to class

Mission (Kan.) Shawnee Mission North quarterback Mack Brown is nearing a decision that could come this weekend after his first official visit.
“Mack is going to Colorado this weekend for his official visit,” Sam Brown, the father and coach of the 6-foot-4, 205-pounder, said. “I am going to go with him on the trip. He is looking forward to it. He feels real good about the situation there.”

Could the No. 8 rated prospect in the state feel good enough about the situation in Boulder to end the recruiting process this weekend?
“The decision is close to happening, I think,” Sam Brown said. “Colorado is looking for a passing quarterback. Mack likes coach Barnett and coach Watson and the way they run their offense. The scheme behind their offense does not mean you have to have a great rushing quarterback.
“As a player, Mack has looked for a program where he thought he could be successful. We helped him in that process. He is a passing quarterback and we are blessed there is such a good fit for him at this time.”
Brown had received attention from Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri in addition to a few others. Colorado is the only school to extend a scholarship offer to date.
