Apsay not rushing decision

Cade Apsay posted major numbers in his junior season and now the Canyon Country (Calif.) Canyon quarterback is hoping to get more noticed on the recruiting trail.
Arizona is the first offer for the 6-foot-2, 176-pound prospect and Colorado, Boise State and San Diego State are also showing a good amount of interest.

With the Wildcats offering, they've jumped up in his recruitment but Apsay said he remains wide open to other programs getting involved.
"They're close to the top of the list," Apsay said of Arizona. "I really liked what I saw when I went there and they're probably one of my favorites so far."
Colorado has been reaching out a lot more to Apsay, who threw for 3,333 yards with 39 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in his junior campaign. He also rushed for 341 yards and 15 scores.
The Buffaloes have not come through with an offer yet but Apsay said he gets the feeling they could be close.
"They told me that they want to offer and they're going to make that decision soon," Apsay said. "They want to make sure the decision is right. I think they will soon. I think they're close on making that decision."
The Canyon quarterback has a trip to Boise State planned soon and then he's also expected to work out at San Diego State in the coming weeks.
In no rush to make a decision, Apsay said he wants to play out the recruiting process a little further to see if others get in the mix.
"I'm going to go through the process a little longer," Apsay said. "I don't think I'm that close to making a decision yet. I think I'm going to wait a while longer."
