Apopka RB is wide open

One of the top running backs in the state is Apopka’s Alan Abrams. The 5-foot-11 and 185 pound star had a very productive spring. He rushed for 190 yards on only 20 carries against Lakeland in his team’s jamboree. He also had a flood of phone call including from Miami, Florida and Florida State. FlaRecruiting.com recently caught up with him to find out what his summer plans were.
“I’m not attending any football camps this summer,” Abrams said “Right now I’m working out on my own, and I’ll start working out with the team on Monday."

Abrams has been offered by Louisiana State, South Carolina, Indiana and Purdue. He doesn’t have a list of favorite schools at this time, and he’ll remain open.
This fall Abrams will check out all of the Florida schools unofficially.
What will Abrams main factor be in choosing a school?
“I’m looking at playing time and how early,” Abrams said.
