Anzalone adds in-state offer

Four-star linebacker Alex Anzalone of Wyomissing, Pa. continues to reel in the offers and also hit the road for visits. Yesterday he finally added an offer from in-state Penn State during their junior day and today he made his way to New Jersey to meet the new coaching staff at Rutgers.
First Anzalone discussed his Penn State visit yesterday and grabbing an offer from the Nittany Lions.

"Even though location isn't the biggest factor in my decision, it was definitely cool to meet the coaches and to see the facilities," said Anzalone.
The new coaching staff at Penn State definitely left a lasting impression on Anzalone.
"I was really impressed with them," said Anzalone. "They seemed like great family men who are looking forward to taking the program to the next level."
Today Anzalone had a chance to take a closer look at the Rutgers program.
"The visit went pretty well," said Anzalone. "I learned a lot about the program. The facilities were great and the coaching staff was awesome."
As he mentioned, the coaching staff at Rutgers left a favorable impression just like the one at Penn State.
"I was impressed with how down to earth they are and how honest they were," said Anzalone.
Up next for Anzalone is a visit to Virginia next week, followed by spring practice visits to Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame, Alabama and Florida.
