Anvoots gains interest, set to visit

Indianapolis (Ind.) Bishop Chatard offensive tackle Sid Anvoots is gaining interest. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder is planning to head out on his first unofficial visit next week.
"I'm going to Indiana on February 19th, we'll see how that goes," he said. "Northern Illinois is really interested in me, Bowling Green has contacted my coach along with Wisconsin, Penn State, Ball State, Iowa, Iowa State and Minnesota."

Anvoots is high on a few schools early.
"I'm interested in a lot of schools," he said. "Indiana, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Boston College and North Carolina.
"I've got a cousin that is at Boston College. I went to their spring game last year."
Interest is just starting for Anvoots, what does he want in a school?
"I just really want to fit in, I don't want to be out of place or secluded by groups of people," he said. "I want somewhere I'm comfortable with and I can see my family once in awhile. I want a good education, that's one of the biggest things. I want to be a personal trainer, so I'm looking at biology."
Anvoots helped Bishop Chatard to a state title and played the final six games of the season with a wrist injury.
Not just a football player, the lineman also participates in the shot putt for track and wrestling, having won the city in eighth grade as a wrestler.
