Position: Offensive Guard
Size and speed: Jeremy is solid at 6-foot-4, 275 pounds. He runs a 4.9-second 40-yard dash. He has a maximum bench press of 355-pounds and squats 520-pounds.
Honors: All-area
Statistics: Last season Zuttah had 37 pancake blocks and graded better than 90-percent in every game.
Favorite schools: Jeremy has no favorites at this time but lists Boston College, Maryland, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Virginia as the schools that have shown him the most interest to date. He has already received an offer from Rutgers.
Skinny: One of New Jerseys’ top lineman for 2004, Jeremy is big and very strong. With quick feet and long arms, he has all the tools to be a top D-1 guard. Jeremy is the younger brother of 2003 Michigan signee Jeff Zuttah.
So will Jeff's decision influence Jeremy?
“Well it would always be nice to play with Jeff, but in the long run I need to do what’s right for me," he said. "I guess the answer to your question is no.”
The Wolverines haven't come calling yet anyhow, although if Jeremy develops as quickly as Jeff did, you can bet they will.
Zuttah hasn't been to any junior days just yet and isn't sure where he'll camp. His brother has been a big influence on him so far.
"I've learned a lot from him and he pushed me to work harder when we were at school together," he said. "He's been a big help."
