Another top OL at STA

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas may have the nation's best offensive line, with three members of the line already boasting coast to coast offers. One of those lineman, center Daniel Wenger has picked up a host of offers and talks with Rivals.com about where he is at in the recruiting process.
"I have offers from Duke, Rutgers, Minnesota, Arizona State, Florida International, Kansas, Iowa State, Connecticut, LSU, Alabama, Purdue, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma and Georgia Tech in writing," Wenger said. "I am hearing from a lot of other schools some that have said they will offer, but I only count the ones in writing.

"Miami has said that they have offered, but I haven't seen anything in writing yet. I like Miami, but they aren't my leader or anything. I wouldn't mind staying close to home and playing for them, but I also kind of want to get away and play somewhere else too."
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Wenger runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds and was an all-Broward County honorable mention as a junior.
"I am really open right now," Wenger said. "Florida, Duke, Purdue, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Stanford are some of the schools I'm looking at, but overall I'm still really open. I don't really have any plans right now to camp anywhere this summer or anything."
Wenger is ranked as the No. 44 player in the state of Florida by Rivals.com.
"I really want to get a good education wherever I go," Wenger said. "I want to make sure that I fit in too. I would like to play early, but I also wouldn't mind taking a redshirt so I could develop more as a player and get acclimated to the system."
