Junior to Watch: Byron Williams
School: Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic

Position: Wide Receiver
Size and speed: Byron stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 185 pounds. He runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash.
Statistics: As a junior, Williams had 35 receptions for 800 yards and eight touchdowns. He also plays basketball for Camden Catholic and averaged six points-per-game this past year.
Honors: All state-parochial second team, all-conference.
Favorite Schools: For now, Byron lists his top five as Rutgers, Penn State, Iowa, Boston College and Wisconsin. He has also received strong interest from Pittsburgh, Michigan State and Syracuse among others. He has an offer from Rutgers.
Skinny: Byron will be recruited very heavyily out of the state of New Jersey where he is considered one of the top players. Byron is the kind of athlete that could play either wide receiver or defensive back in college, but for now all schools have been recruiting him as a wideout.
"I'd like to play receiver in college, but if a school moves me to DB I'll have no problem with that."
College recruiters love his size and ability to go after the ball. He runs very well when he has the football in his hands and has the ability to stop and go. He will have more than the one offer he has at this time by the end of the summer.
