Another RB at Carver

Another running back prospect has emerged from Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia. His name is Devin Lewis. Lewis spent his sophomore year at Carver but then moved out to another school, Central Talbotton. Now he's back and Carver. He'll share the running back duties with 2011 star Isaiah Crowell.
"I will share the load with Isaiah," Lewis said. "I will have to shine when I get the ball and make the best of it. I have good speed, power and can be elusive."

This summer Lewis has made unofficial visits with teammates to Clemson, Georgia, and Southern Miss. Lewis, 6-0 and 198 pounds, doesn't have any scholarship offers at this time but these teams as well as Middle Tennessee State and Memphis are showing him interest. What he does this season will be huge for his future.
"Georgia was nice and I like the campus and coaches.
"Clemson was straight too. I like the coaches and have a couple of teammates that are committed there (Corey Crawford and David Beasley). I like Clemson a lot. I like their style on offense.
"Southern Miss was cool too. I like those players and coaches."
