Another Phoebus standout
Recruiting fans certainly know of Hampton (Va.) Phoebus stars Phillip Brown and Xavier Adibi, two of the top players in the state. Here's another Phoebus standout with an offer.
"Virginia Tech offered me a couple of weeks ago," said 6-foot-0, 170-pound athlete DJ Parker. "They want me as a cornerback and also said I'd get a look at wideout."

However, Parker hasn't committed just yet. He has an official visit set with Tech for Jan. 24 and is also considering visits to NC State and Virginia if they offer.
"Tech wants me to spend a year at Fork Union if I don't qualify and that's cool with me," he said. "They're my favorite and me and Xavier are best friends so hopefully we can go there together."
Parker had six interceptions for the two-time state champs and accounted for 17 touchdowns as the quarterback on offense. He said he'll decide after he takes his visit to Blacksburg.
