Another Pac-12 offer for Treggs

Bryce Treggs is one of the best wide receivers in Southern California so it's no surprise he continues to pick up offers with Washington being the latest big-time school to get involved.
One of the many things that appeals to Treggs, from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, about Washington is that former Bosco quarterback Keith Price plays there and so that could play an important factor in his recruitment.

"It was one I was looking for because my quarterback, Keith Price, he went there and he might be starting next year so that will be good," Treggs said.
"They've always been talking to me but I guess they said they had to evaluate more stuff and then coach (Steve) Sarkisian called and said they were done evaluating and they want to offer me a scholarship."
It's no surprise really that Sarkisian has been in contact with Treggs, a 5-foot-10 prospect who finished with 1,010 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns this past season. He also can play defensive back.
Sarkisian has been the coach most involved with Treggs and the junior standout has definitely taken notice.
"It's a good relationship," Treggs said. "Instead of sending an assistant coach to my school he's always the one that visits my school so that means a lot to me."
Arizona State, Cal, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Stanford, UCLA and San Jose State have also offered Treggs, who said Cal still stands out in his recruitment and will always be a favorite as things keep progressing. Treggs' father, Brian, played for the Golden Bears.
This weekend could be big for Treggs because he's playing in a 7-on-7 tournament with Cal commit Zach Kline, a pro-style quarterback from Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley. If the two click, it could help the Golden Bears' chances with Treggs later on.
"That's going to be a really good experience," Treggs said.
"When I'm going to be making my decision I'm going to be looking at the quarterback to see if it's someone who could get me the ball so this weekend is going to be a good time to work with him a little bit."
