Seth Jacobs is up to five offers with Arizona being the latest one as the Arroyo Grande, Calif., outside linebacker continues to gain more interest.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect who looked good at the Los Angeles NIKE Camp last weekend said he hasn't talked much with Arizona's coaching staff but he's definitely interested in doing more research especially now after the Wildcats offered.
"I haven't talked to Arizona all that much," Jacobs said.
"They've been in the picture for a while and I've talked to people who have talked to some people on the staff. They've always been somewhat interested and getting offered (Tuesday) felt great."
Prior to the Arizona offer, Colorado was the latest school to get involved with Jacobs, who's visiting Stanford and Oregon State over the next few days. The Beavers along with Arizona State and SMU have also offered.
Jacobs, whose father played at Idaho, said he's not sure when he'll be able to visit with the Buffaloes but Colorado's program intrigues him.
"I only talked to them once and I'm going to call them again sometime this week," Jacobs said. "I talked to coach (Brian) Cabral and they're recruiting me as an outside linebacker.
"I was excited to talk to them and I learned a little bit more about their program. I learned coach Cabral was part of the 1985 (Chicago) Bears and they were a great defense, one of the best in the NFL. They definitely had some great linebackers come out of Colorado so I'm excited about that. They have a great tradition and it's a great area."
Northwestern and Cal Poly are two other programs showing interest in Jacobs, who said he's excited about his upcoming trips to Stanford and Oregon State and is keeping all his options open as more programs get involved.
"I've been keeping my ears open to hear who's interested and then I've been calling them so we'll see what happens next," he said.
