Another Ohio State-Oklahoma battle

Columbus (Ohio) Marion Franklin standout Alex Daniels is one of the most talented and versatile prospects in the Buckeye state. The 6-foot-2 and 220 pounder could play outside linebacker, strong safety, or running back in college.
Daniels made 28 tackles and intercepted two passes while also rushing for 655 yards during his junior season. Daniels played in eight games, missing two with an ankle problem.

Daniels was very impressive at the NIKE Training Camp at Ohio State in April, and since then the interest from recruiters has done nothing but grow.
"Oklahoma, Michigan State, West Virginia, Boston College, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue, I have a lot of offers," Daniels said. "Ohio State said they would offer at camp."
"All the Florida schools interest me. And USC. And Cincinnati offered too. The head coach came in and offered."
"Some schools recruiting me for defense say strong safety. Some say outside linebacker. Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Illinois want me to play tailback. Everybody else says outside linebacker or strong safety. It doesn't matter in college to me. As long as I can get on the field."
"Ohio State says outside linebacker."
Does Daniels have a favorite?
"I'm a hometown person," he said. "Ohio State's my favorite. Them and Oklahoma."
"My official visits will be the focal point for where I go to college."
