Another offer for Houston gunslinger

Friendswood (Texas) quarterback Jacob Karam picked up another offer after Spring Break.
The 6-foot-1 Karam, who has offers from the University of Houston, Arizona and Stanford, received another official offer from Rice University's staff.

"The Rice coaches offered this week and we will be going over to the campus this Saturday," father Jerome Karam said. "We want to see what they are all about, and their academics are second to none."
Karam is being heavily recruited by Northwestern, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Louisville and Arizona State, just to name a few. All have mentioned offering in the spring.
"He really wants to get the commitment out of way, and is just waiting for the right school to offer," Karam said. "He has really enjoyed the way Houston has been recruiting him and they are really creeping up there. He's been to a few practices and on campus over the past few months."
Karam has amped up his training schedule and is up over 200 pounds in preparation for seven-on-seven in the spring. He's looking to build on his 4,500 yards passing and 48 touchdowns he has tallied over two seasons.
"To say he is ready for his senior season would be an understatement," Karam said.
