Another offer for DeMartinis

When it rains it pours. That's the case for Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame blue-chip junior offensive tackle Sam DeMartinis. After picking up offers from Ole Miss three weeks ago, he's picked up offer No. 2 and No. 3 in the last 10 days.
"Recruiting has been picking up and I've gotten a few offers so I'm pretty happy about it," DeMartinis, who is 6-foot-6 and 252 pounds, said. "Ole Miss offered me about three weeks ago then San Diego State last week and Washington did on Tuesday.

"I've been getting mail from Arizona, Nebraska, Notre Dame, BYU and I actually have gotten hand-written letters form Clemson and Colorado. I'm not sure if they're close to offering, but I know Clemson talked to my coach about getting some film to review."
DeMartinis has a busy week ahead.
"I've been invited to the Nike Camp and this Saturday I'm going to UCLA's Junior Day," he said. "I've been down there to watch some basketball games, but this will be my first chance to talk to the coaches and everything.
"I grew up following UCLA, but right now I don't have a number one choice. If UCLA were to start showing some interest in me they would definitely be one of my top teams, though. It's not definite right now, but I'll probably go to all of the one day camps for teams who are interested in me. I'm not sure if I'll make it too far away, but I hope to make it to Ole Miss and those teams far away."
DeMartinis wants to play for a well-rounded school.
"I'm just looking for a place that is well-rounded – a place with athletics, academics and a social life," he said. "The best combination of all three will probably be my No.1 choice."
